The Welcome Reception is the first social gathering between all conference delegates and it will take place at the Venue Hotel. It will be a relaxing evening during which delegates will have the opportunity to talk to colleagues and peers, while enjoying local drinks and ample canapés.

We will get together at 14:15 at the Venue Hotel lobby, from where we will promptly depart at 14:30 in air-conditioned coaches for a fascinating tour. Our first stop will be ‘Petra tou Romiou’ which is the legendary birthplace of Greek goddess Aphrodite. We will then proceed to the nearby Kouklia village where the Holy Temple of Aphrodite and an archaeological Museum are located. We will then proceed to visit Omodos village, one of the most beautiful villages in Cyprus which is located in the centre of the famous wine making region of the country. We will have the opportunity to walk along the cobbled streets and explore the village’s narrow alleys, the wood crafted verandas and enjoy the hospitality of the inhabitants. We will finish our walking tour by arriving at the conference dinner site, a unique venue with medieval architecture and intimate atmosphere located in the heart of the village. Dinner will consist mainly by traditional dishes accompanied by local drinks wines, drinks and desserts. During dinner we will also enjoy an entertaining program with live music and singing performed by a local band.
